Onyemaechi Tachambong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Chineze Olowokandi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Farnsfield City booed when Grimsby FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zinachidi Gambo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Onyemaechi Tachambong to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Ikechukwu Martin Ibeh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grimsby FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ikechukwu Martin Ibeh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
