Samson Ojomo was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Onyemaechi Odiaka capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Onyemaechi Odiaka really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Bassey Maifata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute of the match Dozie Idah sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samson Ojomo skillfully saved the ball. In the 15th minute, Johnson Kolapo made a precise shot to the right of Chidiebere Baba. Soho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Dozie Idah took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Samson Ojomo. Barrow-in-Furness AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Barrow-in-Furness AFC's Samson Ojomo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Barrow-in-Furness AFC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Onyemaechi Odiaka in the 22nd minute of play forced Barrow-in-Furness AFC's goalkeeper Samson Ojomo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 2-1 became the score in the 26th minute when Onyemaechi Odiaka elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 30 played minutes Barrow-in-Furness AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Afolayan. Johnson Kolapo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chidiebere Baba having to interfere. Soho's Chidiebere Baba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bassey Maifata in the 39th minute of play. Kabiru Maduabum hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Chidiebere Baba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johnson Kolapo's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Bassey Maifata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Chidiebere Baba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Onyemaechi Odiaka made the kick off in the second half. Ikedinachukwu Gowon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chidiebere Baba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnson Kolapo in the 59th minute of the match. Chidiebere Baba came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Barrow-in-Furness AFC's Bassey Maifata. But to his dismay, Bassey Maifata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Johnson Kolapo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Onyemaechi Odiaka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soho's supporters rose to their feet, but Onyemaechi Odiaka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samson Ojomo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Soho's zone, Johnson Kolapo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chidiebere Baba came out of the goal and Johnson Kolapo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Onyemaechi Odiaka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samson Ojomo having to interfere. Johnson Kolapo might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chidiebere Baba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johnson Kolapo ran back to his position shaking his head. 84 minutes into the game, Barrow-in-Furness AFC's Bassey Maifata nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chidiebere Baba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Onyemaechi Odiaka in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samson Ojomo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
