Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Udoka Oyeyemi got the match started through his kick off. Nkiruka Abayomi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nwokeocha Odejayi in the 4th minute of the match. Nwokeocha Odejayi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nwokeocha Odejayi might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nkiruka Abayomi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nwokeocha Odejayi ran back to his position shaking his head. When Lewes FC's Nwokeocha Odejayi in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caterham Valley's goalie prevented a goal. Obiora Owotoki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Nwabugwu Odubena made a huge save. Fola Kako kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Nwokeocha Odejayi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nkiruka Abayomi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Lewes FC's Nwokeocha Odejayi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nkiruka Abayomi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Lewes FC's Chikere Owomoyela got a free kick in the 46th minute. Caterham Valley's Obiora Owotoki got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 52nd minute Udoka Oyeyemi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nwabugwu Odubena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caterham Valley's Obiora Owotoki got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nwabugwu Odubena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Udoka Oyeyemi in the 58th minute of play. Obiora Owotoki struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Nwabugwu Odubena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caterham Valley. Nwabugwu Odubena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justice Oloukun's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes Lewes FC got a freekick which was hit by Austine Ughaelu. Nwabugwu Odubena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Udoka Oyeyemi in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute Udoka Oyeyemi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nwabugwu Odubena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Obiora Owotoki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes Caterham Valley got a freekick which was hit by Anny Oluwashikemi. After a defensive mix-up in Caterham Valley's zone, Afolabi Nwaiwu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nkiruka Abayomi came out of the goal and Afolabi Nwaiwu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st match minute, Caterham Valley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fola Kako to maneuver through the defense. In the last second Nkiruka Abayomi throw himself and got hold of the ball when Nwokeocha Odejayi in the 82ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Nkiruka Abayomi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lewes FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
