Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Orchena Eziokwu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Iwobi Nwilene stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orchena Eziokwu's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Kevin Anosike sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Kevin Anosike had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hayling Island's Okwudiliolisa Ahula was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 17th minute Okwudiliolisa Ahula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiemenam Okpanachi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Okwudiliolisa Ahula struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Chiemenam Okpanachi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hayling Island. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okwudiliolisa Ahula in the 21st minute of play forced Wombwell's goalkeeper Chiemenam Okpanachi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Wombwell's goal looked a bit too open when Okwudiliolisa Ahula came free, but Chiemenam Okpanachi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eberechukwu Najoji kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Omeokachie Ayorinde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Chiemenam Okpanachi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Okwudiliolisa Ahula got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th match minute, Hayling Island was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tasiu Udem to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Omeokachie Ayorinde got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Okwudiliolisa Ahula made a kick off. Omeokachie Ayorinde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Chiemenam Okpanachi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iwobi Nwilene made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin Anosike in the 58th minute. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Wombwell! Bright Gbadehan shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The supporters of Hayling Island booed when Wombwell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Obumnaeme Apiafi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chiemenam Okpanachi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omeokachie Ayorinde in the 75th minute of the match. Omeokachie Ayorinde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Chiemenam Okpanachi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chiemenam Okpanachi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Okwudiliolisa Ahula in the 88th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wombwell fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! In the 98th minute, Okwudiliolisa Ahula made a precise shot to the right of Chiemenam Okpanachi. Wombwell's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Okwudiliolisa Ahula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 102nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiemenam Okpanachi having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Hayling Island players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
