Spectators: 6854 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1854, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The Keyworth fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Trowbridge United's goalkeeper Sochi Monguno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Eyiboh. After 20 played minutes Keyworth got a freekick which was hit by Akhiromen Olowole. Keyworth's Nkemdilim Acholonu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ini Achi in the 21st minute of play. After 25 minutes, Ekenedilichukwu Ifakachukwu made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Keyworth's Nkemdilim Acholonu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 29 minutes, Ekenedilichukwu Ifakachukwu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trowbridge United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ekenedilichukwu Ifakachukwu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ini Achi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Ekenedilichukwu Ifakachukwu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nkemdilim Acholonu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Chimaoke Omoyinmi's late challenge caught a Keyworth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chimaoke Omoyinmi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Trowbridge United getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Chimaoke Omoyinmi hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, David Eyiboh made a precise shot to the right of Sochi Monguno. Trowbridge United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. If Mala Ojudun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eluemuno Gauyama was the one to do the kick off. Ekenedilichukwu Ifakachukwu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nkemdilim Acholonu having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ini Achi in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nkemdilim Acholonu saved Keyworth from getting behind. Ekenedilichukwu Ifakachukwu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Nkemdilim Acholonu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mala Ojudun in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nkemdilim Acholonu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Ekenedilichukwu Ifakachukwu took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Nkemdilim Acholonu to make any attempt to save it. David Eyiboh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mala Ojudun charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mala Ojudun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes Trowbridge United got a freekick which was hit by Mala Ojudun. When Ekenedilichukwu Ifakachukwu came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Trowbridge United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ekenedilichukwu Ifakachukwu couldn't finish the play. Nkemdilim Acholonu stood somewhat misplaced when Ekenedilichukwu Ifakachukwu came free in front of goal and shot 2-4 to the left of him in the 73 minute. Mala Ojudun scored 2-5 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nkemdilim Acholonu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute, Chimaoke Omoyinmi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chimaoke Omoyinmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ekenedilichukwu Ifakachukwu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Nkemdilim Acholonu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 88th minute, Ini Achi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Nkemdilim Acholonu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match was over Trowbridge United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Keyworth throughout the match.
