Anayolisa Okupe didn't quite understand what happened when in the 28 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chinonyelum Adebola during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Southam AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Chinonyelum Adebola hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tolu Fashiro in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eddy Adekanmbi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Udoka Adebakin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tolu Fashiro made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Edon Okwudili managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Southam AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edon Okwudili was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Udoka Adebakin in the 56th minute of play forced Harvington's goalkeeper Adebola Tsehe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Southam AFC's Udoka Adebakin got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 64 played minutes Southam AFC got a freekick which was hit by Justin Momodu. Edon Okwudili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Harvington's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Nnam Soyinka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eddy Adekanmbi.
