The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Olakunle Pascal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Withernsea. After 17 played minutes Withernsea got a freekick which was hit by Kambinachi West. Chibuzo Idowu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Olakunle Pascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Chiekwugo Ajatta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jibril Acheneje made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chiekwugo Ajatta in the 29th minute. Chibuzo Idowu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Olakunle Pascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olakunle Pascal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jideofor Asuzu in the 32nd minute of the match. Olakunle Pascal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jideofor Asuzu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Jideofor Asuzu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olakunle Pascal having to interfere. 50 minutes into the match, Withernsea's goalkeeper Jibril Acheneje had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chiekwugo Ajatta.

The wind increased when Jideofor Asuzu made the kick off in the second half. Chiekwugo Ajatta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jibril Acheneje having to interfere. Olakunle Pascal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jideofor Asuzu's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute Jideofor Asuzu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olakunle Pascal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Tettenhall's zone, Jideofor Asuzu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olakunle Pascal came out of the goal and Jideofor Asuzu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Tettenhall's Chijioke Aduaka got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Chibuzo Idowu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olakunle Pascal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jideofor Asuzu in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Tettenhall's goalkeeper Olakunle Pascal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chibuzo Idowu. In the 84th minute Jideofor Asuzu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olakunle Pascal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jideofor Asuzu came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Withernsea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jideofor Asuzu couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiekwugo Ajatta in the 96th minute of play forced Withernsea's goalkeeper Jibril Acheneje to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute Jideofor Asuzu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olakunle Pascal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
