Spectators: 6855 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 0) Okoli Jibo scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uzo Aguele, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 6 minutes, Harrison Lawan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rugeley and the Kendal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rugeley's Harrison Lawan got a free kick in the 6th minute. Rugeley's Chiazagomekpele Fashiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ifenemonye Okwudili in the 8th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Rugeley's Okoli Jibo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uzo Aguele made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Kendal's zone, Rachidi Shuaibu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uzo Aguele came out of the goal and Rachidi Shuaibu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ifenemonye Okwudili might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chiazagomekpele Fashiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ifenemonye Okwudili ran back to his position shaking his head. 24 minutes into the match, Kendal's Ifenemonye Okwudili sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chiazagomekpele Fashiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kendal's Uzo Aguele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chibuzo Otubusen in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Okoli Jibo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uzo Aguele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kendal's Micheal Shuru Owoicho got a free kick in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okoli Jibo in the 38th minute of play forced Kendal's goalkeeper Uzo Aguele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chibuzo Otubusen took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uzo Aguele. Uzo Aguele dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Chiazagomekpele Fashiro came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Kendal's Gabriel Akpanaha. But to his dismay, Gabriel Akpanaha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ifenemonye Okwudili made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Kendal's zone, Chibuzo Otubusen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uzo Aguele came out of the goal and Chibuzo Otubusen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chibuzo Otubusen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uzo Aguele having to interfere. In the 58th minute Okoli Jibo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uzo Aguele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rugeley's Toby Garba got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Ifenemonye Okwudili left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kendal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. During the 65th minute of the match Harrison Lawan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Harrison Lawan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 66 played minutes Rugeley got a freekick which was hit by Harrison Lawan. Kendal's Fidelis Ihenacho couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rugeley. 70 minutes into the match, Rugeley's goal looked a bit too open when Ifenemonye Okwudili came free, but Chiazagomekpele Fashiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gabriel Akpanaha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Nnamutaezinwa Kofa fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rugeley's protests and gave Nnamutaezinwa Kofa a yellow card for diving instead. 79 minutes into the match, Kendal's goalkeeper Uzo Aguele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chibuzo Otubusen. Chibuzo Otubusen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Uzo Aguele made a huge save. Uzo Aguele made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Chibuzo Otubusen sent off a good shot on target. Gabriel Akpanaha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Chiazagomekpele Fashiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chiazagomekpele Fashiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ifenemonye Okwudili in the 89th minute of the match. Rugeley's Chiazagomekpele Fashiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Akpanaha in the 93rd minute of play. Ifenemonye Okwudili succeeded in the game's 94th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-3. Chiazagomekpele Fashiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Akpanaha's shot from short distance in the 98th minute.
