Spectators: 6860 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1860, VIP seats: 0) Christian Oyeoku made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the match, Crown Fc's goalkeeper Onwuamaeze Omanukwue had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robai Julius Ngoka. Emenike Amagu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Osondu Sodje tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Keelby United getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Lawrence Otah hit a great ball. Emenike Amagu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emenike Amagu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute, Christian Oyeoku ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osondu Sodje was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 37 played minutes Crown Fc got a freekick which was hit by Rashidi Adedokun. Muraina Ayorinde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osondu Sodje having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

51 minutes into the game, Robai Julius Ngoka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Onwuamaeze Omanukwue was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ifeajuna Okocha during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 63 played minutes Crown Fc got a freekick which was hit by Ifeajuna Okocha. Emenike Amagu took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osondu Sodje. Osondu Sodje dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Emenike Amagu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Martin Lauli came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Crown Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Lauli couldn't finish the play. Emenike Amagu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Osondu Sodje made a huge save. Osondu Sodje made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Oyeoku in the 85th minute of play. Keelby United's Osondu Sodje played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Oyeoku in the 90th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Osondu Sodje successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Crown Fc played a much better game than Keelby United and deserved their victory. The Keelby United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
