After a rather tough play, Parbold's Tajudeen Ezeagba got a free kick in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chukwujekwu Amuda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Afolabi Ekpo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Chukwujekwu Amuda skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 87th minute, Afolabi Ekpo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chukwujekwu Amuda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afolabi Ekpo went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The Carlton in Lindrick fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Parbold were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
