With his leg Chukwunyere Adefala managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Carlton in Lindrick's Alloysius Ochi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Bodmin City's Alhaji Agada got a free kick in the 21st minute. Carlton in Lindrick's Chukwujekwu Amuda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kelvin Okpara in the 26th minute of play. Kabir Maikunkele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chukwujekwu Amuda having to interfere. The Carlton in Lindrick fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chukwujekwu Amuda should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Carlton in Lindrick's Austin Omachonu got a free kick in the 38th minute. Kelvin Okpara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Carlton in Lindrick players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bodmin City were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alloysius Ochi made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Bodmin City's goal looked a bit too open when Ekenedilichukwu Osinuche came free, but Chukwunyere Adefala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Carlton in Lindrick's Alloysius Ochi in 55 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Onyema Uduehi hit a great ball. 71 minutes in the game Somadina Tunde after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Chukwujekwu Amuda. A very good opportunity. A hard shot 73 in the game by Kelvin Okpara from a close distance when the talented Chukwujekwu Amuda managed to make a qualified save. Carlton in Lindrick's players were relieved. Kelvin Okparas short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Chukwujekwu Amuda to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 78 played minutes Carlton in Lindrick got a freekick which was hit by Benson Isu. When Bodmin City's Kabir Maikunkele in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carlton in Lindrick's goalie prevented a goal. Ekenedilichukwu Osinuche might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chukwunyere Adefala. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ekenedilichukwu Osinuche ran back to his position shaking his head. Chukwunyere Adefala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alloysius Ochi, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute Ekenedilichukwu Osinuche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chukwunyere Adefala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlton in Lindrick's Alloysius Ochi got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alloysius Ochi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Austin Omachonu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Bodmin City supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bodmin City would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
