Spectators: 6861 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1861, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Olushola Tiamiyu took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Wigston City getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Wilson Aduda hit a great ball. Olushola Tiamiyu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 6 minutes, Wilson Aduda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wigston City and the Bude players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wilson Aduda kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olushola Tiamiyu in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dauda Sofoluwe saved Wigston City from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdulsalami Orumah got free with Uzoma Obiyo in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 17 played minutes Bude got a freekick which was hit by Rachidi Obasi. Abdulsalami Orumah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uzoma Obiyo having to interfere. Edorisi Okolo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Bude's Donald Johnson tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 24 played minutes Wigston City got a freekick which was hit by Yau Ilo. Uzoma Obiyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nsofor Akparanta, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Bude's goal looked a bit too open when Nsofor Akparanta came free, but Uzoma Obiyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ifaluyi Okoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Dauda Sofoluwe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, one of Wigston City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dauda Sofoluwe went to the wrong direction when Donald Johnson was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After 44 played minutes Bude got a freekick which was hit by Rachidi Obasi. Ifaluyi Okoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dauda Sofoluwe having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 60thth minute of the game Olushola Tiamiyu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wigston City's Dauda Sofoluwe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Nsofor Akparanta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wigston City's supporters rose to their feet, but Nsofor Akparanta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uzoma Obiyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ifaluyi Okoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uzoma Obiyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulsalami Orumah in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Rachidi Obasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uzoma Obiyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nsofor Akparanta, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 86th minute Abdulsalami Orumah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uzoma Obiyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bude were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
