Spectators: 6842 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 0) Olushola Tiamiyu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Micheal Amadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19th play minutes Ifaluyi Okoro shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Eddy Bamgbelu and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Micheal Amadi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hickling United's supporters rose to their feet, but Micheal Amadi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uzoma Obiyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Uzoma Obiyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Reyeniju, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bude's goalkeeper Uzoma Obiyo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robert Reyeniju struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Uzoma Obiyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hickling United. 37 minutes into the match, Hickling United's Micheal Amadi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uzoma Obiyo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Hickling United's goal looked a bit too open when Olushola Tiamiyu came free, but Eddy Bamgbelu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rachidi Obasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robert Reyeniju to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Ifaluyi Okoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddy Bamgbelu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olushola Tiamiyu's late challenge caught a Hickling United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olushola Tiamiyu helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Olushola Tiamiyu managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a rather tough play, Bude's Olushola Tiamiyu got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bude's zone, Chidozie Dunmade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uzoma Obiyo came out of the goal and Chidozie Dunmade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Reyeniju in the 67th minute of play forced Bude's goalkeeper Uzoma Obiyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olushola Tiamiyu in the 70th minute of play forced Hickling United's goalkeeper Eddy Bamgbelu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Olushola Tiamiyu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 75 minutes, Chinwenma Adekunle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bude's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chinwenma Adekunle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 76 minutes of play, Bude's Olushola Tiamiyu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eddy Bamgbelu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eddy Bamgbelu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ifaluyi Okoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Robert Reyeniju fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uzoma Obiyo having to interfere. The supporters of Hickling United booed when Bude was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yari Hide didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Reyeniju recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90thth minute of the game Robert Reyeniju who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bude's Uzoma Obiyo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olushola Tiamiyu struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Eddy Bamgbelu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bude. Bude's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
