After 32 minutes of play, Juju's Adeshina Awosupin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Somsom Sunday was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juju's Adeshina Awosupin got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ositadimma Ungbo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Aguebor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Edith Adedina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Somsom Sunday was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The Al-nassar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Juju were winning 0-2.

After some careless play in the Juju defense, Ositadimma Ungbo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Aguebor. The Juju fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Aguebor should have stopped the shot. Al-nassar's Somsom Sunday proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Al-nassar from getting a goal against them. The referee felt a red card was in order, 60 minutes into the game, when Kodilinye Lele put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Al-nassar:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Juju:s goal. Olakunde Oyebanjo hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute of the match, Adeshina Awosupin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Somsom Sunday saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Somsom Sunday showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adeshina Awosupin in the 71st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Edith Adedina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Somsom Sunday. That made the score 1-4 in the 72 minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Al-nassar's goal looked a bit too open when Adeshina Awosupin came free, but Somsom Sunday reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ositadimma Ungbo struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Gabriel Aguebor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Al-nassar. 83 minutes into the game, one of Al-nassar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Orchena Ezukanma hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Edith Adedina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juju played a much better game than Al-nassar and deserved their victory. The Al-nassar players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
