The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Pirate Captain F.C's zone, Nworie Abe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iroawuchi Ibileke came out of the goal and Nworie Abe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chimaobim Aigbudu in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iroawuchi Ibileke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 9 minutes into the match, Pirate Captain F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Chimaobim Aigbudu came free, but Iroawuchi Ibileke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Chimaobim Aigbudu came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Fc pimp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chimaobim Aigbudu couldn't finish the play. Nworie Abe took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iroawuchi Ibileke. Iroawuchi Ibileke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 17 minutes into the game, Chimaobim Aigbudu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Iroawuchi Ibileke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With 27 minutes on the clock, Godfrey Ohai commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 26th minute, one of Fc pimp:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fc pimp. In the 32nd minute, Perek Kimitei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Perek Kimitei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Iroawuchi Ibileke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jatau Ndimele was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Iroawuchi Ibileke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perek Kimitei in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nworie Abe was the one to do the kick off. If Nworie Abe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 56th minute, Nworie Abe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pirate Captain F.C's goalkeeper Iroawuchi Ibileke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Madukwe Atere fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pirate Captain F.C's protests and gave Madukwe Atere a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pirate Captain F.C's Madukwe Atere got a free kick in the 60th minute. Pirate Captain F.C's Iroawuchi Ibileke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Pirate Captain F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute, Nike Usideme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Pirate Captain F.C's Madukwe Atere got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute, Nworie Abe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nworie Abe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 73 minutes into the match, Pirate Captain F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Dozie Alapa came free, but Iroawuchi Ibileke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Muktar Auyo got free with Iroawuchi Ibileke in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nworie Abe took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iroawuchi Ibileke. Iroawuchi Ibileke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 84th match minute, Pirate Captain F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nike Usideme to maneuver through the defense. Nworie Abe let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 85th minute shot 1-4 at rihgt post. Perek Kimitei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Iroawuchi Ibileke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nworie Abe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Iroawuchi Ibileke skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perek Kimitei in the 92nd minute of play forced Pirate Captain F.C's goalkeeper Iroawuchi Ibileke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Fc pimp could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pirate Captain F.C throughout the match.
