Stanford le Hope City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ibn Okorowanta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raymond Akiti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Raymond Akiti, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 64 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Zik Ikani was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Adolphus Enebechi came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Margate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolphus Enebechi couldn't finish the play. Ozoemena Etete charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ozoemena Etete the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Raymond Akiti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stanford le Hope City's Zik Ikani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Margate's goal looked a bit too open when Ibn Okorowanta came free, but Tasiu Onwuzuruike reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Margate! Margate walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
