Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gabriel Uzochukwu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Gabriel Uzochukwu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aderemi Ballah was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Pirate Captain F.C's Mallam Eneche sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aderemi Ballah narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Mallam Eneche came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Pirate Captain F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mallam Eneche couldn't finish the play. Iroawuchi Ibileke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ugonna Benneth, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Godwin Ismaila Taiwo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Iroawuchi Ibileke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 played minutes Pirate Captain F.C got a freekick which was hit by Eseosa Okpanachi. Iroawuchi Ibileke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ugonna Benneth's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Godwin Ismaila Taiwos short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Iroawuchi Ibileke to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Feranmi cf's Ugonna Benneth slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iroawuchi Ibileke. That made the score 1-1 after 20 minutes of play. In the 26thth minute of the game Ugonna Benneth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirate Captain F.C's Iroawuchi Ibileke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Godwin Ismaila Taiwo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Iroawuchi Ibileke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Pirate Captain F.C's Iroawuchi Ibileke got control of the ball when Godwin Ismaila Taiwo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iroawuchi Ibileke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godwin Ismaila Taiwo in the 38th minute. Pirate Captain F.C's Iroawuchi Ibileke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ugonna Benneth in the 42nd minute of play. If Mallam Eneche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ugonna Benneth to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Feranmi cf were awarded a corner. Ndukaku Eyitayo went to the cornerflag to take it. Iroawuchi Ibileke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ugonna Benneth, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Iroawuchi Ibileke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ugonna Benneth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Pirate Captain F.C's zone, Ugonna Benneth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iroawuchi Ibileke came out of the goal and Ugonna Benneth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Onwubiko Shawulu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 75 minutes, Ndukaku Eyitayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Feranmi cf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ndukaku Eyitayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ugonna Benneth in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iroawuchi Ibileke saved Pirate Captain F.C from getting behind. Godwin Ismaila Taiwo took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iroawuchi Ibileke. Iroawuchi Ibileke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Ugonna Benneth might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iroawuchi Ibileke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ugonna Benneth ran back to his position shaking his head. Godwin Ismaila Taiwo might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iroawuchi Ibileke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 95th minute, Udokamma Ribadu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute, Gabriel Uzochukwu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aderemi Ballah was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Feranmi cf fully deserved thier win.
