Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Olowoyo Olowole kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Trimley's zone, Sopuluchi Dooyum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ejike Okechukwu came out of the goal and Sopuluchi Dooyum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 6 played minutes Trimley got a freekick which was hit by Nezie Bako. If Sopuluchi Dooyum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Frank Onyekweli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dover's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Onyekweli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ejike Okechukwu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ejike Okechukwu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sopuluchi Dooyum's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. When Warman Ejem fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trimley's protests and gave Warman Ejem a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Trimley getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Warman Ejem hit a great ball. In the 20th minute Ugochukwu Nhayiba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ejike Okechukwu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Trimley's goal looked a bit too open when Ugochukwu Nhayiba came free, but Ejike Okechukwu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mma Rigogo charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mma Rigogo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mma Rigogo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Kelvin Olugbodi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ejike Okechukwu. Trimley's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Ossy Onwuachi fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trimley's protests and gave Ossy Onwuachi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Trimley's Ossy Onwuachi got a free kick in the 27th minute. 34 minutes into the game, Chifo Okpanachi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trimley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dover the free kick. In the 34th minute, Chifo Okpanachi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ejike Okechukwu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ugochukwu Nhayiba, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute Peter Arumona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ejike Okechukwu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olowoyo Olowole fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bina Akidi having to interfere. When Tobe Japhet came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Trimley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobe Japhet couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Frank Onyekweli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tobe Japhet, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 46 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bina Akidi was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After the first half Dover were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sopuluchi Dooyum stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ugochukwu Nhayiba in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ejike Okechukwu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Chikelue Okorochukwu's late challenge caught a Trimley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chikelue Okorochukwu helped the player get up and apologised. Chikelue Okorochukwu hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Olowoyo Olowole recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Ugochukwu Nhayiba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chikelue Okorochukwu got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Chikelue Okorochukwu hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Tobe Japhet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bina Akidi having to interfere. Tobe Japhet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Bina Akidi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Dover had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
