With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eseme Daika prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eseme Daika made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sunday Odumegwu in the 23rd minute. Sunday Odumegwu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Eseme Daika made a huge save. Kodili Dada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eseme Daika stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kodili Dada's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 38th minute, Kodili Dada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sunday Odumegwu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Eseme Daika made a huge save. If Kodili Dada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yussuf Akinsehinde to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Fleetwood City's zone, Sunday Odumegwu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eseme Daika came out of the goal and Sunday Odumegwu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sunday Odumegwu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eseme Daika having to make a save. Kodili Dada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eseme Daika having to interfere. The Hilperton City fans' excitement grew in the 98th match minute when Hilperton City's Kodili Dada looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hilperton City walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
