Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Akinlade Razaki made the kick off which started today's match. Chimezie Okoroanyanwu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enoch Alhasssan having to interfere. After 6 minutes, Chukwuhaenye Babatope mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the REVOLUTIONARY FC and the Hilperton City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Omotayo Enoh didn't quite understand what happened when in the 7 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Enoch Alhasssan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akinlade Razaki in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kodili Dada in the 12th minute of play forced REVOLUTIONARY FC's goalkeeper Chimaijem Owoleke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Akinlade Razaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Chinwenma Oluwatola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hilperton City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave REVOLUTIONARY FC the free kick. Chinwenma Oluwatola hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Sunday Odumegwu could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Chimaijem Owoleke however easily saved by the left post. When Hilperton City's Kodili Dada in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye REVOLUTIONARY FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 31stth minute of the game Kodili Dada who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but REVOLUTIONARY FC's Chimaijem Owoleke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sunday Odumegwu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Chimaijem Owoleke came out and tried to block the shot, but Sunday Odumegwu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 39th minute. If Kodili Dada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kodili Dada to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kodili Dada in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chimaijem Owoleke saved REVOLUTIONARY FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kodili Dada in the 59th minute of play forced REVOLUTIONARY FC's goalkeeper Chimaijem Owoleke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Sunday Odumegwu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hilperton City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sunday Odumegwu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Hilperton City's Sunday Odumegwu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chimaijem Owoleke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Chimaijem Owoleke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kodili Dada, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Enoch Alhasssan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oghogho Olubodun in the 83rd minute. After 86 played minutes REVOLUTIONARY FC got a freekick which was hit by Henry Emeka. When Kodili Dada came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Hilperton City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kodili Dada couldn't finish the play. Sunday Odumegwu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Chimaijem Owoleke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oghogho Olubodun's late challenge caught a Hilperton City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oghogho Olubodun helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sunday Odumegwu in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chimaijem Owoleke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute Sunday Odumegwu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chimaijem Owoleke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enoch Alhasssan was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Akinlade Razaki capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Akinlade Razaki really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. There was no doubt that Hilperton City were the better team. Hilperton City's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
