Chuma Uche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Okwukwe Obadiah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Beckton booed when Morecambe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kodilinyechukwu Amagu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Beckton's Nwokeocha Ismaila Taiwo tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Chuma Uche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Okwukwe Obadiah, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Chikwendu Aiyetan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chuma Uche having to interfere. Oyakhilome Efangwu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Okwukwe Obadiah made a kick off. After 55 minutes, Hakeem Omolafe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morecambe and the Beckton players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Beckton booed when Morecambe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakeem Omolafe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beckton's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Chikwendu Aiyetan scored to the left of an out of position Chuma Uche, making the score, 1-2. Nebeuwa Onwuzuruike showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oyakhilome Efangwu, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Morecambe fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Beckton a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nwokeocha Ismaila Taiwo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Morecambe's Nebeuwa Onwuzuruike. 2-2. Chuma Uche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morecambe. 79 minutes into the match, Beckton's goalkeeper Chuma Uche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chikwendu Aiyetan. Chuma Uche made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chikwendu Aiyetan in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Morecambe getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Kodilinyechukwu Amagu hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the game, Chikwendu Aiyetan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Chuma Uche was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chikwendu Aiyetan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Chuma Uche made a huge save. 93 minutes into the match, Beckton's goalkeeper Chuma Uche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chikwendu Aiyetan. Morecambe's Nebeuwa Onwuzuruike played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odii Yusuf in the 96th minute of play. Chikwendu Aiyetan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Morecambe had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
