Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Chiemenam Egbuonu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute Andy Awhu-whu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moruf Gbenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bina Onyinyechi's late challenge caught a Al-Shabaab's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bina Onyinyechi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Beast FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Bina Onyinyechi hit a great ball. If Chiemenam Egbuonu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andy Awhu-whu in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moruf Gbenga saved Al-Shabaab from getting behind. Chiemenam Egbuonu kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. James Adanri's late challenge caught a Al-Shabaab's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. James Adanri hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Bina Onyinyechi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Moruf Gbenga, 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Al-Shabaab's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Awhu-whu came free, but Moruf Gbenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bina Onyinyechi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Moruf Gbenga firmly grabbed it by the left post. 26 minutes into the match, James Adanri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moruf Gbenga. Al-Shabaab's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that James Adanri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Al-Shabaab's Moruf Gbenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfred Nkwocha in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of Al-Shabaab booed when Beast FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. James Adanri didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfred Nkwocha in the 47th minute of play forced Al-Shabaab's goalkeeper Moruf Gbenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andy Awhu-whu to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Al-Shabaab's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Awhu-whu came free, but Moruf Gbenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54thth minute of the game Andy Awhu-whu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Al-Shabaab's Moruf Gbenga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 56th minute, James Adanri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moruf Gbenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Awhu-whu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chiemenam Egbuonu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Bolakale Mbanongun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Al-Shabaab's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfred Nkwocha came free, but Moruf Gbenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chiemenam Egbuonu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bolakale Mbanongun having to interfere. Andy Awhu-whu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moruf Gbenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bina Onyinyechi, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Andy Awhu-whu took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moruf Gbenga. Moruf Gbenga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Andy Awhu-whu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moruf Gbenga having to interfere. Moruf Gbenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Awhu-whu in the 92nd minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Andy Awhu-whu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beast FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andy Awhu-whu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Beast FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Al-Shabaab for a fine match.
