Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Ossy Nwanyinnaya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chimaijem Owoleke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ossy Nwanyinnaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. A collision led to Latchingdon getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Toluwalogo Ajilore hit a great ball. The supporters of Latchingdon booed when REVOLUTIONARY FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Emeka didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Akeem Agboola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 played minutes, Latchingdon's Agboola Dayo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chimaijem Owoleke came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Latchingdon reached it. After 43 minutes of play, Latchingdon's Ossy Nwanyinnaya made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chimaijem Owoleke was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Chimaijem Owoleke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikel Lamba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agboola Dayo, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Akeem Agboola put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Chimaijem Owoleke. 78 minutes into the game, Ebelechukwu Uwaifo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Latchingdon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave REVOLUTIONARY FC the free kick. In the 80thth minute of the game Chimezie Okoroanyanwu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Latchingdon's Ndudi Agboare was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for REVOLUTIONARY FC! After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Akinlade Razaki managed to get in a good position for a shot. REVOLUTIONARY FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Akinlade Razaki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ndudi Agboare breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ossy Nwanyinnaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Chimaijem Owoleke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oghogho Olubodun kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
