Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Oyakhilome Efangwu got the match started through his kick off. Chukwuma Mochaa charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chukwuma Mochaa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chukwuma Mochaa hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute of the match Latchingdon got a corner. Beckton's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Agboola Dayo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Maxwell Adebona drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Beckton's goalkeeper. When Latchingdon's Ossy Nwanyinnaya in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Beckton's goalie prevented a goal. Mikel Lamba's late challenge caught a Beckton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikel Lamba helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Latchingdon's Mikel Lamba got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Beckton's Odii Yusuf in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Latchingdon's goalie prevented a goal. Latchingdon's Ndudi Agboare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odii Yusuf in the 15th minute of play. Ndudi Agboare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oyakhilome Efangwu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Latchingdon's Ossy Nwanyinnaya dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Akeem Agboola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Chuma Uche made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Ossy Nwanyinnaya's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chuma Uche was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After 30 played minutes Beckton got a freekick which was hit by Chieloka Alachi. After recieving a nice pass, Latchingdon's Agboola Dayo tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Oyakhilome Efangwu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ndudi Agboare was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Ossy Nwanyinnaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oyakhilome Efangwu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ndudi Agboare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 3-0 became the score in the 42nd minute when Ossy Nwanyinnaya elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ossy Nwanyinnaya made a kick off. Odii Yusuf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Akeem Agboola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chuma Uche having to interfere. When Odii Yusuf came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Beckton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Odii Yusuf couldn't finish the play. Ossy Nwanyinnaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chuma Uche having to interfere. Ndudi Agboare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oyakhilome Efangwu in the 92nd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Beckton players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Latchingdon.
