Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Andy Awhu-whu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Badamasi Ejide made an important save on a dangerous shot by James Adanri in the 7th minute. Bina Onyinyechi's late challenge caught a Rockers United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bina Onyinyechi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Beast FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bina Onyinyechi to maneuver through the defense. Babajide Odoko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bolakale Mbanongun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Badamasi Ejide came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Beast FC's Andy Awhu-whu. But to his dismay, Andy Awhu-whu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Bolakale Mbanongun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babajide Odoko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Babajide Odoko in the 28th minute of play forced Beast FC's goalkeeper Bolakale Mbanongun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 30th minute of the match Bina Onyinyechi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bina Onyinyechi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Beast FC! Bolakale Mbanongun had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Nike Aboyade's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Nike Aboyade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Bolakale Mbanongun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. James Adanri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 2-2 became the score in the 49th minute when Tobenna Onigbanjo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tobenna Onigbanjo made a kick off. If Ajayi Dunmade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfred Nkwocha hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Tobenna Onigbanjo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Bolakale Mbanongun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Andy Awhu-whu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beast FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andy Awhu-whu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Badamasi Ejide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beast FC's Bolakale Mbanongun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Beast FC from getting a goal against them. Babajide Odoko in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bolakale Mbanongun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 84th minute, Tobenna Onigbanjo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th match minute, Beast FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Awhu-whu to maneuver through the defense. Babajide Odoko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute.
