Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Okwukwe Obadiah to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Farnham FC got a freekick which was hit by Akin Amosun. After 56 minutes, Chigozie Omoduemuke made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Morecambe's Nebeuwa Onwuzuruike tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aku Ekeh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chikwendu Aiyetan in the 60th minute of the match. Aku Ekeh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Okwukwe Obadiah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Chikwendu Aiyetan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th match minute, Morecambe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nweke Naeche to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Nebeuwa Onwuzuruike managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Farnham FC's Chigozie Omoduemuke fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 69 played minutes Morecambe got a freekick which was hit by Hakeem Omolafe. Ademola Oguche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chikwendu Aiyetan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aku Ekeh having to interfere. Aku Ekeh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chikwendu Aiyetan, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Chikwendu Aiyetan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Farnham FC's Aku Ekeh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kodilinyechukwu Amagu in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademola Oguche in the 89th minute of play forced Morecambe's goalkeeper Nebeuwa Onwuzuruike to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Theophilus Enakarhire fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morecambe's protests and gave Theophilus Enakarhire a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, one of Morecambe:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Morecambe. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Farnham FC. Martin Yusuf stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nebeuwa Onwuzuruike. 2-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Farnham FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
