After 15 played minutes, Sutton Valence's Ezekiel Ademodi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kelvin Omanukwue came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sutton Valence reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Sutton Valence's zone, Bekololari Dauda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ajuluchukwu Gulma came out of the goal and Bekololari Dauda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kelvin Omanukwue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azuka Obasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Huddersfield City's Kelvin Omanukwue proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Huddersfield City from getting a goal against them. Azuka Obasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kelvin Omanukwue having to make a save. After 24 minutes, Chikosi Oliha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huddersfield City and the Sutton Valence players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Huddersfield City's Chikosi Oliha got a free kick in the 24th minute. After having played for 30 minutes, Osonduagwuike Obeleagu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sutton Valence's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osonduagwuike Obeleagu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Huddersfield City's goal looked a bit too open when Azuka Obasa came free, but Kelvin Omanukwue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Huddersfield City's Kelvin Omanukwue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azuka Obasa in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Azuka Obasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kelvin Omanukwue. Huddersfield City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Azuka Obasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Huddersfield City's Kelvin Omanukwue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azuka Obasa in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 minutes, Ahijah Tukura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huddersfield City and the Sutton Valence players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Huddersfield City's Ahijah Tukura got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Azuka Obasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bekololari Dauda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samson Agbokhode kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Kelvin Omanukwue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osonduagwuike Obeleagu in the 76th minute of the match. Bekololari Dauda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ajuluchukwu Gulma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kelvin Omanukwue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osonduagwuike Obeleagu in the 81st minute of play. Ezekiel Ademodi kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Huddersfield City's Bekololari Dauda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ajuluchukwu Gulma. Ajuluchukwu Gulma yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Huddersfield City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oluwole Alachi in the 94th minute. Olufemi Semitoje tried in the 95th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Ajuluchukwu Gulma a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
