Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eluem Alagala took the kick off in the first half of the match. Chuma Wambai struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Otuonye Bazunu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rawmarsh. After a rather tough play, Swaffham FC's Jide Yekini got a free kick in the 7th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chuma Wambai during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chuma Wambai kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Akpojotor Gwalabe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Rawmarsh's goal looked a bit too open when Eluem Alagala came free, but Gozie Obikwelu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otuonye Bazunu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mudschahid Oloukun in the 24th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Rawmarsh's goal looked a bit too open when Jide Yekini came free, but Gozie Obikwelu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Eluem Alagala's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gozie Obikwelu was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Oyeyiola Olutola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rawmarsh's supporters rose to their feet, but Oyeyiola Olutola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otuonye Bazunu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute, Ojore Ochegbulu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th match minute, Swaffham FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jide Yekini to maneuver through the defense. Otuonye Bazunu came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rawmarsh's Oyeyiola Olutola. But to his dismay, Oyeyiola Olutola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mudschahid Oloukun was the one to do the kick off. Mudschahid Oloukun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otuonye Bazunu having to interfere. Gozie Obikwelu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ojore Ochegbulu in the 59th minute. Swaffham FC's Otuonye Bazunu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mudschahid Oloukun in the 61st minute of play. Mudschahid Oloukun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Rawmarsh's Mudschahid Oloukun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Otuonye Bazunu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Swaffham FC's Otuonye Bazunu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oyeyiola Olutola in the 72nd minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Oyeyiola Olutola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Otuonye Bazunu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Odii Shasore charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Odii Shasore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ojore Ochegbulu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gozie Obikwelu having to interfere. Ugorji Uwagwu kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, Rawmarsh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taye Oliseh to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Swaffham FC's Eluem Alagala sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gozie Obikwelu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rawmarsh's Gozie Obikwelu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Rawmarsh from getting a goal against them. Otuonye Bazunu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oyeyiola Olutola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rawmarsh fans cheered their team off the field, for while Swaffham FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
