The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ajuluchukwu Gulma showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Azuka Obasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nnamdi Akeredolu having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Azuka Obasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Okwuadigbo Iyekeretin hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Ajuluchukwu Gulma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Onyeka Nakudu in the 24th minute. Emeka Agbo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 28 minutes of play, Sutton Valence's Osonduagwuike Obeleagu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nnamdi Akeredolu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ezekiel Ademodi's late challenge caught a Harrogate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ezekiel Ademodi helped the player get up and apologised. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sutton Valence walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
