Bosun Alapa's late challenge caught a Bromyard's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bosun Alapa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bristol Centre getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Bosun Alapa hit a great ball. In the 28th minute of the match Bina Akintemi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tolu Ehigie showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tony Adeleye recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bromyard's zone, Bitrus John Egungbe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feyisayo Tunde came out of the goal and Bitrus John Egungbe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bristol Centre's Bosun Alapa got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st match minute, Bromyard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ikechukwu Ajatta to maneuver through the defense. Bristol Centre's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Odili Ishiaku in the 44th minute. The corner ended in Ifeanyichukwu Abia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bromyard's Feyisayo Tunde did a great save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bitrus John Egungbe made a kick off. Feyisayo Tunde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bitrus John Egungbe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Bromyard's Tolu Ehigie threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tony Adeleye, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Bromyard booed when Bristol Centre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bosun Alapa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bitrus John Egungbe took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feyisayo Tunde. Feyisayo Tunde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Uzo Adar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Bromyard's goalkeeper Feyisayo Tunde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Feyisayo Tunde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uzo Adar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Uzo Adar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Bristol Centre players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
