Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Onuoha Okorie took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 minutes, Clement Ekata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sawbridgeworth AFC and the THE ELECTRONS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Clement Ekata kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute of the match Olaka Olubandele shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ete Charlie Affe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mbadiwe Okonkwo in the 8th minute of play forced THE ELECTRONS's goalkeeper Opah Adobu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. THE ELECTRONS's Opah Adobu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save THE ELECTRONS from getting a goal against them. Thompson Amusan kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When THE ELECTRONS's James Atoyebi in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sawbridgeworth AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Opah Adobu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mbadiwe Okonkwo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, THE ELECTRONS's Onuoha Okorie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ete Charlie Affe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Chibuzor Ayotunde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Sawbridgeworth AFC's goal looked a bit too open when James Atoyebi came free, but Ete Charlie Affe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Sampson Oyeoku who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but THE ELECTRONS's Opah Adobu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Mbadiwe Okonkwo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Opah Adobu was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 38th match minute, THE ELECTRONS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uwa Ikem to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Sawbridgeworth AFC's Kambina Olugbodi tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Onuoha Okorie kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, THE ELECTRONS's goalkeeper Opah Adobu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sampson Oyeoku. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mbadiwe Okonkwo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Uwa Ikem kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Mbadiwe Okonkwo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sawbridgeworth AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mbadiwe Okonkwo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Opah Adobu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in THE ELECTRONS's zone, Sampson Oyeoku stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Opah Adobu came out of the goal and Sampson Oyeoku tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sampson Oyeoku in the 66th minute of play forced THE ELECTRONS's goalkeeper Opah Adobu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clement Ekata got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Clement Ekata kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Sawbridgeworth AFC's Sampson Oyeoku got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sampson Oyeoku recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 77 minutes of play, Sawbridgeworth AFC's Sampson Oyeoku made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Opah Adobu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sampson Oyeoku sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, THE ELECTRONS's Onuoha Okorie ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ete Charlie Affe. Ete Charlie Affe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Mbadiwe Okonkwo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Opah Adobu having to make a save. Sawbridgeworth AFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing THE ELECTRONS to leave the ground with a draw.
