Dick Nwigwe took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omotayo Olutola. Omotayo Olutola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 12 minutes into the match, Frodsham's goalkeeper Hanyeolisa Adegoroye had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Akubuike. Martin Akubuike's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Hanyeolisa Adegoroye skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Martin Akubuike had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Akubuike, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Osar Abodunde scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Omotayo Olutola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chidozie Nnanyelugo in the 27th minute of play. A hard shot 31 in the game by Martin Akubuike from a close distance when the talented Hanyeolisa Adegoroye managed to make a qualified save. Frodsham's players were relieved. Omotayo Olutola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dick Nwigwe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Frodsham's goalkeeper Hanyeolisa Adegoroye had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ndubuagha Ogor. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Ndubuagha Ogor sent off a good shot on target. After 45 minutes, Duke Ademayowa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frodsham and the Liskeard players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Liskeard booed when Frodsham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duke Ademayowa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Akubuike received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Akubuike stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Ifesinachi Shahada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liskeard's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frodsham the free kick. Ifesinachi Shahada hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When Obi Mbong came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Frodsham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Obi Mbong couldn't finish the play. After 65 played minutes Liskeard got a freekick which was hit by Chijioke Garo. Martin Akubuike struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liskeard. After a rather tough play, Frodsham's Chigo Akinyele got a free kick in the 71st minute. A nice corner shot did that Ifesinachi Shahada got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hanyeolisa Adegoroye quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ifesinachi Shahada's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Hanyeolisa Adegoroye - 1-3 was put on the score board in the 73rd minute. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Akubuike in the 81st minute of play. Frodsham's Hanyeolisa Adegoroye played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chidozie Nnanyelugo in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Martin Akubuike got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute, Greg Otelaja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Akubuike's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Frodsham were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Liskeard's much stronger midfield.
