A collision led to Frodsham getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Kambinachi Adeyinka hit a great ball. Ekenedilichukwu Uchendu kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bankole Abdu made a kick off. William Okwaraji made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greg Otelaja in the 55th minute of play. In the 61st minute Dick Nwigwe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Okwaraji saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 played minutes Frodsham got a freekick which was hit by Duke Ademayowa. 94 minutes into the match, Frodsham's goalkeeper Hanyeolisa Adegoroye had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bankole Abdu. In the 96th minute of the match Onyekachi Dogo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but William Okwaraji skillfully saved the ball. There was no doubt that Frodsham were the better team. Frodsham's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
