Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lincoln FC's Akubundu Adefulu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bright Akintola in the 4th minute of play. Bright Akintola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ositadimma Olaoye came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Lincoln FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ositadimma Olaoye couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Ositadimma Olaoye left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lincoln FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Osibajo Etafia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chukwuraenye Arumona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sam Adodo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the game, Little Harrowden's Bright Akintola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Akubundu Adefulu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Bright Akintola might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Akubundu Adefulu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bright Akintola ran back to his position shaking his head. 33 minutes into the match, Lincoln FC's goalkeeper Akubundu Adefulu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ugochukwutubelum Kuta. Akubundu Adefulu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bright Akintola, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The audience was convinced that Chukwuraenye Arumona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osibajo Etafia was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After 42 played minutes Lincoln FC got a freekick which was hit by Ganiyu Agba. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ositadimma Olaoye to make the kick off. Bright Akintola scored 3-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Akubundu Adefulu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 55 minutes, Ganiyu Agba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lincoln FC and the Little Harrowden players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Little Harrowden booed when Lincoln FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ganiyu Agba didn't get a good kick on the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lincoln FC reached it. 81 minutes into the game, Ositadimma Olaoye lined in a short shot 3-2 behind a frustrated Osibajo Etafia. The audience was convinced that Ositadimma Olaoye's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osibajo Etafia was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the match, Lincoln FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ugochukwutubelum Kuta came free, but Akubundu Adefulu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Little Harrowden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ugochukwutubelum Kuta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Little Harrowden had won after a very even match.
