Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dick Nwigwe kicked off to start the match. Deyour Oyai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dick Nwigwe in the 6th minute of the match. A hard shot 7 in the game by Greg Otelaja from a close distance when the talented Deyour Oyai managed to make a qualified save. Lagos FC's players were relieved. Temple Aiyetan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hanyeolisa Adegoroye having to make a save. Deyour Oyai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dick Nwigwe in the 14th minute of play. Deyour Oyai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dick Nwigwe in the 23rd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Lagos FC got a freekick which was hit by Nnachetam Kato. Dick Nwigwes short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Deyour Oyai to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rachidi Ajanaku received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Dick Nwigwe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deyour Oyai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Greg Otelaja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Deyour Oyai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dick Nwigwe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd match minute, Lagos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nnachetam Kato to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Lagos FC's zone, Duke Ademayowa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Deyour Oyai came out of the goal and Duke Ademayowa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Temple Aiyetan to make the kick off. The Frodsham fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Frodsham's Greg Otelaja looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Greg Otelaja came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Frodsham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Greg Otelaja couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dick Nwigwe in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Deyour Oyai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dick Nwigwe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deyour Oyai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greg Otelaja in the 69th minute of play. After 72 played minutes Lagos FC got a freekick which was hit by Osaze Udem. When Dick Nwigwe got free in front of the goal in the 73rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Deyour Oyai was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to Lagos FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ugonnatubelum Gbadebo hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Kambinachi Adeyinka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Greg Otelaja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frodsham's Greg Otelaja got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Greg Otelaja notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lagos FC's Deyour Oyai. Deyour Oyai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dick Nwigwe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deyour Oyai having to interfere.
