Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Shawai Adaramoye made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Chuks FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cletus Cletus Anosike came free, but Olalekan Ezeagba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Beacon united's zone, Dahunsi Obiamaka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Effiong Adegunloye came out of the goal and Dahunsi Obiamaka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute of the match, Dahunsi Obiamaka tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Effiong Adegunloye saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dahunsi Obiamaka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Effiong Adegunloye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ettah Ayoka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Effiong Adegunloye having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Dahunsi Obiamaka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Effiong Adegunloye was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, Chuks FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mbadiwe Awolowo came free, but Olalekan Ezeagba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Effiong Adegunloye came out of the goal and Ettah Ayoka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute Shawai Adaramoye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olalekan Ezeagba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes in the game, Dahunsi Obiamaka fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Effiong Adegunloye having to interfere. Olalekan Ezeagba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cletus Cletus Anosike, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dahunsi Obiamaka in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Effiong Adegunloye, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ettah Ayoka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dahunsi Obiamaka came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Chuks FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dahunsi Obiamaka couldn't finish the play. Effiong Adegunloye made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dahunsi Obiamaka in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dahunsi Obiamaka to make the kick off. If Dahunsi Obiamaka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Dahunsi Obiamaka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dahunsi Obiamaka in the 58th minute of play forced Beacon united's goalkeeper Effiong Adegunloye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ettah Ayoka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dahunsi Obiamaka in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Effiong Adegunloye saved Beacon united from getting behind. Ettah Ayoka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Effiong Adegunloye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Chuks FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mobi Tokumbo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ettah Ayoka in the 65th minute of play forced Beacon united's goalkeeper Effiong Adegunloye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olalekan Ezeagba was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Shawai Adaramoye capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Shawai Adaramoye really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Beacon united's Effiong Adegunloye played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dahunsi Obiamaka in the 74th minute of play. Dahunsi Obiamaka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80thth minute of the game Dahunsi Obiamaka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beacon united's Effiong Adegunloye was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dahunsi Obiamaka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Effiong Adegunloye having to interfere. If Dahunsi Obiamaka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dahunsi Obiamaka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Effiong Adegunloye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ettah Ayoka struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Effiong Adegunloye didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chuks FC. Dahunsi Obiamaka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Effiong Adegunloye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ifesinachi Musa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Effiong Adegunloye stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dahunsi Obiamaka's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of Beacon united were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Chuks FC side.
