Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Gideon Ademowo came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Ironville FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gideon Ademowo couldn't finish the play. Yinka Bamgbelu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halim Uduma in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abishai Tafawa Balewa in the 9th minute of play forced Ironville FC's goalkeeper Yinka Bamgbelu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Halim Uduma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abishai Tafawa Balewa scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yinka Bamgbelu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yinka Bamgbelu came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Bredon's Halim Uduma. But to his dismay, Halim Uduma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Abishai Tafawa Balewa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yinka Bamgbelu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Halim Uduma might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yinka Bamgbelu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Halim Uduma ran back to his position shaking his head. Yinka Bamgbelu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ortega Nkwocha's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Abishai Tafawa Balewa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yinka Bamgbelu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Halim Uduma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yinka Bamgbelu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Abishai Tafawa Balewa sped through Ironville FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yinka Bamgbelu. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saidu Aduda was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Abishai Tafawa Balewa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bredon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abishai Tafawa Balewa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Halim Uduma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yinka Bamgbelu. Ironville FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Halim Uduma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. After some careless play in the Bredon defense, Saidu Aduda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osibajo Oladiji. The Bredon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osibajo Oladiji should have stopped the shot. Ironville FC's Yinka Bamgbelu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Ironville FC from getting a goal against them. Ironville FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Abishai Tafawa Balewa 73 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-7. Abishai Tafawa Balewa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yinka Bamgbelu having to interfere. Saidu Aduda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Halim Uduma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Halim Uduma got free with Yinka Bamgbelu in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Abishai Tafawa Balewa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With his leg Yinka Bamgbelu managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Bredon's Halim Uduma fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Saidu Aduda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Bredon left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ironville FC.
