When Eloka Ambaka came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Seascale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eloka Ambaka couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Beacon united's zone, Thompson Omolafe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Effiong Adegunloye came out of the goal and Thompson Omolafe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thompson Omolafe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Effiong Adegunloye made a huge save. The supporters of Beacon united booed when Seascale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thompson Omolafe didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloka Ambaka in the 79th minute of play forced Beacon united's goalkeeper Effiong Adegunloye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mbadiwe Awolowo got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.
