Yate FC's Bankole Moses played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abishai Tafawa Balewa in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Abishai Tafawa Balewa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bankole Moses saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Bredon's goal looked a bit too open when Chukwufumnanya Oliseh came free, but Osibajo Oladiji reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Halim Uduma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Onyemachukwu Okonkwo during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boniface Ephraim in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osibajo Oladiji saved Bredon from getting behind. Osibajo Oladiji showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chukwufumnanya Oliseh in the 76th minute of the match. Ortega Nkwocha kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Chukwufumnanya Oliseh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chukwufumnanya Oliseh in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osibajo Oladiji prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Osibajo Oladiji stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chukwufumnanya Oliseh's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. If Chukwufumnanya Oliseh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boniface Ephraim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osibajo Oladiji having to interfere. After some careless play in the Bredon defense, Boniface Ephraim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osibajo Oladiji. The Bredon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osibajo Oladiji should have stopped the shot. Yate FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
