Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ike Abiakam took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Bucknell's goal looked a bit too open when Gregory Enakarhire came free, but Jibril Anzigah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bucknell's Jibril Anzigah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Bucknell from getting a goal against them. Belvedere's Onyemaechi Onigbogi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ike Abiakam in the 19th minute of play. Belvedere's Gregory Enakarhire got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Belvedere booed when Bucknell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esomchi Abhulimhen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jibril Anzigah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregory Enakarhire in the 26th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Esomchi Abhulimhen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Onoriode Okorowanta kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Belvedere's goal looked a bit too open when Ike Abiakam came free, but Onyemaechi Onigbogi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 played minutes Bucknell got a freekick which was hit by Esomchi Abhulimhen. The nice shot from Chiefo Jega in the 37thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Jibril Anzigah had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Belvedere's Gregory Enakarhire got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jibril Anzigah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregory Enakarhire, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Gregory Enakarhire's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jibril Anzigah read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gregory Enakarhire stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Bucknell's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ernest Omokoh who took care of the corner kick. Belvedere's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Tolulope Peter scored to the left of an out of position Onyemaechi Onigbogi, making the score, 0-1. Belvedere's Adegun Jakada got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ike Abiakam received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Onyemaechi Onigbogi came out and tried to block the shot, but Ike Abiakam slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 66th minute. If Gregory Enakarhire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregory Enakarhire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jibril Anzigah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregory Enakarhire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chiefo Jega in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jibril Anzigah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jibril Anzigah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiefo Jega, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Belvedere's zone, Tolulope Peter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Onyemaechi Onigbogi came out of the goal and Tolulope Peter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ike Abiakam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onyemaechi Onigbogi having to interfere. Bucknell's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
