Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chinwe Abiola took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Arising star fa's goal looked a bit too open when Chiefo Jega came free, but Udochukwu Omorodion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Udochukwu Omorodion came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Belvedere's Chiefo Jega. But to his dismay, Chiefo Jega quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Chiefo Jega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Udochukwu Omorodion didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chiefo Jega went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Samson Etoh Adeeko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arising star fa's supporters rose to their feet, but Samson Etoh Adeeko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Onyemaechi Onigbogi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Samson Etoh Adeeko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onyemaechi Onigbogi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Arising star fa's Stephen Istifanus Asiegbo got a free kick in the 26th minute. Udochukwu Omorodion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregory Enakarhire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samson Etoh Adeeko might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Onyemaechi Onigbogi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samson Etoh Adeeko ran back to his position shaking his head. Samson Etoh Adeeko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Onyemaechi Onigbogi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nnachetam Famewo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute of the match Ernest Omokoh sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Udochukwu Omorodion skillfully saved the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Chinwe Abiola struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Onyemaechi Onigbogi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arising star fa. Udochukwu Omorodion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chiefo Jega in the 59th minute. Udochukwu Omorodion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregory Enakarhire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Gregory Enakarhire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Udochukwu Omorodion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nnachetam Famewo hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arising star fa's goalkeeper Udochukwu Omorodion, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chiekwugo Azazi hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Chiefo Jega's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Udochukwu Omorodion skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gregory Enakarhire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Udochukwu Omorodion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernest Omokoh kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute of the match Essien Bolodeoku shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Onyemaechi Onigbogi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Arising star fa getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Nnachetam Famewo hit a great ball. Stephen Istifanus Asiegbo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gregory Enakarhire in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Udochukwu Omorodion saved Arising star fa from getting behind. With a little luck, Arising star fa's Udochukwu Omorodion got control of the ball when Chiefo Jega tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chiefo Jega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Udochukwu Omorodion having to interfere.
