Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tochi Amarachi took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Castle football academy's goal looked a bit too open when Abishai Tafawa Balewa came free, but Labaran Nwaiwu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ortega Nkwocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Labaran Nwaiwu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abishai Tafawa Balewa in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Castle football academy booed when Bredon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nsofor Mbolu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Castle football academy's Ibeamaka Okwuono got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Ibeamaka Okwuono got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Halim Uduma struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Labaran Nwaiwu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bredon. Halim Uduma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Labaran Nwaiwu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Akamadu Adebajo fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bredon's protests and gave Akamadu Adebajo a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bredon fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! Osibajo Oladiji was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Tochi Amarachi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tochi Amarachi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The wind increased when Abishai Tafawa Balewa made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match Sammsmith Adeyinka sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osibajo Oladiji skillfully saved the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Castle football academy's goalkeeper Labaran Nwaiwu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Halim Uduma. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bredon's goalkeeper Osibajo Oladiji, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 60 played minutes Castle football academy got a freekick which was hit by Ibeamaka Okwuono. Abishai Tafawa Balewa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Halim Uduma in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Labaran Nwaiwu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Halim Uduma might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Labaran Nwaiwu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Halim Uduma ran back to his position shaking his head. Abishai Tafawa Balewa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Labaran Nwaiwu came out and tried to block the shot, but Abishai Tafawa Balewa slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, Bredon's Ortega Nkwocha got a free kick in the 71st minute. Tochi Amarachi scored 3-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osibajo Oladiji, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abishai Tafawa Balewa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 80th minute. Bredon's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tochi Amarachi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Osibajo Oladiji tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tochi Amarachi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 92 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Osibajo Oladiji was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Castle football academy were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bredon for a fine match.
