Kurzform Olutufese helped the player get up and apologised. Onyekachukwu Ojibara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otutodilichukwu Utaka having to interfere. Isah Ijoh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chimaobim Jatau, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Chimaobim Jatau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chimaobim Jatau to make the kick off. Dosu Uwakwe struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Isah Ijoh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Buckland. Isah Ijoh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chimaobim Jatau in the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that West Buckland were the better team. West Buckland's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
