Pascal Awu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ohen Elejiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Knapton's goal looked a bit too open when Ohen Elejiko came free, but Pascal Awu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascal Awu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osonduagwuike Owuru's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, Knapton's Kesiana Ademokun got a free kick in the 35th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ohen Elejiko in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascal Awu saved Knapton from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Mill Hill's Udegbunam Gbajabiamila got a free kick in the 38th minute. Mill Hill's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Iroawuchi Okoroanyanwu scored to the left of an out of position Achua Dimeji, making the score, 1-1. Pascal Awu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osonduagwuike Owuru in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Mill Hill's Osonduagwuike Owuru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pascal Awu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ohen Elejiko was the one to do the kick off. Osonduagwuike Owuru in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pascal Awu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 67th minute, Osonduagwuike Owuru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pascal Awu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 80th minute Ajilore Galadima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Achua Dimeji saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Achua Dimeji took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iroawuchi Okoroanyanwu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the game, Dayo Odhiambo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mill Hill's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Knapton the free kick. Dayo Odhiambo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Blessed Emeka kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Osonduagwuike Owuru succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 92nd playminute. In the 98th minute, Iroawuchi Okoroanyanwu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mill Hill's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
