A collision led to OGUNMOLA FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Jeremiah Momoh hit a great ball. After 9 played minutes OGUNMOLA FC got a freekick which was hit by Izuchukwu Omokhodion. 11 minutes into the match, OGUNMOLA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ohen Elejiko came free, but James Adeleru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Mill Hill's Achua Dimeji got control of the ball when Bina Nwagwu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute of the match, Toby Adelabu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Achua Dimeji saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee ignored OGUNMOLA FC's protests and gave Jeremiah Momoh a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Jeremiah Momoh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. OGUNMOLA FC's James Adeleru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osonduagwuike Owuru in the 19th minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Mill Hill's Osonduagwuike Owuru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. James Adeleru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Mill Hill's Achua Dimeji played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toby Adelabu in the 27th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Mill Hill's goal looked a bit too open when Toby Adelabu came free, but Achua Dimeji reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes, Connally Adegoke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OGUNMOLA FC and the Mill Hill players grew even worse after the yellow card. Princewill Akprizy Oyesiji kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toby Adelabu to make the kick off. When Toby Adelabu came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the OGUNMOLA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toby Adelabu couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Mill Hill defense, Toby Adelabu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Achua Dimeji. The Mill Hill fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Achua Dimeji should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Mill Hill's Ohen Elejiko got a free kick in the 59th minute. The supporters of Mill Hill booed when OGUNMOLA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Princewill Akprizy Oyesiji didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, OGUNMOLA FC's James Adeleru got control of the ball when Chijioke Kagai tried to sneak it across the goal line. OGUNMOLA FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ohen Elejiko 68 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. James Adeleru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. OGUNMOLA FC's James Adeleru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save OGUNMOLA FC from getting a goal against them. Chimaraoke Adaranijo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Mill Hill's goal looked a bit too open when Toby Adelabu came free, but Achua Dimeji reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bina Nwagwu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Mill Hill supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mill Hill would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
