The West Buckland fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when West Buckland's Sabo Tsehe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kurzform Olutufese charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kurzform Olutufese the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kurzform Olutufese kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Kurzform Olutufese was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. West Buckland's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. West Buckland's Chimaobim Jatau got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olakunde Oguntade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chimaobim Jatau's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Romanus Nwaozuzu hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes, West Buckland's Abdullahi Fatai shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Olakunde Oguntade came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in West Buckland reached it. In the 28th match minute, Kings FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kosiso Ijeh to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute of the match West Buckland got a corner. Kings FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abdullahi Fatai ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 43rd minute, Kings FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sabo Tsehe fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

Kings FC's Olakunde Oguntade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabo Tsehe in the 51st minute of play. The corner led to West Buckland's Friday Madugu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Sabo Tsehe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olakunde Oguntade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Chimaobim Jatau scored 2-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olakunde Oguntade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 67 minutes, Sabo Tsehe made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kings FC's Olakunde Oguntade tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kings FC's goalkeeper Olakunde Oguntade, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olakunde Oguntade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabo Tsehe in the 84th minute of play forced Kings FC's goalkeeper Olakunde Oguntade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dosu Uwakwe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute Omamofe Opadokun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otutodilichukwu Utaka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, Chimaobim Jatau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. West Buckland's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
