Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Musa Achima made the kick off which started today's match. Uzoma Semitoje took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Obiuto Fajemirokun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ramsey United booed when Clowne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feyisayo Mafiana didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Clowne's zone, Musa Achima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uzoma Semitoje came out of the goal and Musa Achima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Obiuto Fajemirokun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Tony Shawulu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Obiuto Fajemirokun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uzoma Semitoje made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Obiuto Fajemirokun in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Clowne's Feyisayo Mafiana got a free kick in the 15th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Musa Achima in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uzoma Semitoje prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 20 minutes, Feyisayo Mafiana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clowne and the Ramsey United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Clowne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feyisayo Mafiana to maneuver through the defense. Peter Oni Aina scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iyke Otite, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Ramsey United's Minabo Nnaji got a free kick in the 26th minute. Musa Achima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uzoma Semitoje read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Peter Oni Aina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Iyke Otite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute of the match Minabo Nnaji shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Uzoma Semitoje showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ogunmola Olagoke Abduwa struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Iyke Otite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clowne. With a little luck, Ramsey United's Iyke Otite got control of the ball when Peter Oni Aina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Uzoma Semitoje made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Obiuto Fajemirokun in the 42nd minute of play. Ramsey United's Musa Achima got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iyke Otite didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Oni Aina went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ogunmola Olagoke Abduwa to make the kick off. Uzoma Semitoje made an important save on a dangerous shot by Musa Achima in the 51st minute. In the 51st match minute, Clowne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Shawulu to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Musa Achima in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uzoma Semitoje prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yege Batalawa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iyke Otite. Ramsey United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Clowne's Anny Madumere suffered a sore thigh after 57 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 58 minutes into the game, Musa Achima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ramsey United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clowne the free kick. Musa Achima kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Peter Oni Aina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Musa Achima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uzoma Semitoje showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Musa Achima in the 66th minute of the match. Peter Oni Aina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Zereokwu Udem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Manga Akau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Oni Aina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iyke Otite having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ramsey United defense, Peter Oni Aina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iyke Otite. The Ramsey United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iyke Otite should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute, Deyour Eluemunoh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Musa Achima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uzoma Semitoje having to interfere. Peter Oni Aina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clowne were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ramsey United for a fine match.
