Spectators: 6936 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1936, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Onyekachukwu Ojibara took the kick off in the first half of the match. Isah Ijoh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ogunmola Olagoke Abduwa in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Brighton's goal looked a bit too open when Ogunmola Olagoke Abduwa came free, but Isah Ijoh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Onyekachukwu Ojibara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9thth minute of the game Ogunmola Olagoke Abduwa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brighton's Isah Ijoh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peter Oni Aina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Isah Ijoh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ogunmola Olagoke Abduwa in the 12th minute of play forced Brighton's goalkeeper Isah Ijoh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Peter Oni Aina came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Clowne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Oni Aina couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the game, Ogunmola Olagoke Abduwa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Isah Ijoh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 33 minutes, Humble Odumegwu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clowne and the Brighton players grew even worse after the yellow card. Humble Odumegwu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Mala Otite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peter Oni Aina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Brighton's goalkeeper Isah Ijoh, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ogunmola Olagoke Abduwa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isah Ijoh having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ogunmola Olagoke Abduwa in the 49th minute of play forced Brighton's goalkeeper Isah Ijoh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ogunmola Olagoke Abduwa made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Brighton's zone, Peter Oni Aina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isah Ijoh came out of the goal and Peter Oni Aina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brighton's goalkeeper Isah Ijoh, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peter Oni Aina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Isah Ijoh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ogunmola Olagoke Abduwa, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Onyekachukwu Ojibara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uzoma Semitoje showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mala Otite in the 68th minute of the match. Tony Shawulu might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isah Ijoh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tony Shawulu ran back to his position shaking his head. Peter Oni Aina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isah Ijoh having to interfere. Peter Oni Aina struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Isah Ijoh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clowne. Isah Ijoh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ogunmola Olagoke Abduwa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mala Otite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Uzoma Semitoje tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mala Otite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uzoma Semitoje having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Onyekachukwu Ojibara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute, Feyisayo Mafiana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Buka Effiang was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Isah Ijoh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ogunmola Olagoke Abduwa in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Peter Oni Aina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peter Oni Aina was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Clowne's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ogunmola Olagoke Abduwa in the 98th minute of play forced Brighton's goalkeeper Isah Ijoh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clowne played a much better game than Brighton and deserved their victory. The Brighton players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
