Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mill Hill's Ohen Elejiko started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Erhabor Adelekan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achua Dimeji having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, Osonduagwuike Owuru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mill Hill's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lexxan the free kick. Chukwuemeka Kamuche took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Achua Dimeji. Achua Dimeji dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 17 played minutes Lexxan got a freekick which was hit by Margaret Alumona. Osonduagwuike Owuru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dosu Famewo having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Chimaraoke Adaranijo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Edorisi Akparanta sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mill Hill's Achua Dimeji didn't even have to move. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osonduagwuike Owuru got free with Dosu Famewo in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dosu Famewo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 25th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Achua Dimeji took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erhabor Adelekan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Lexxan booed when Mill Hill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Udegbunam Gbajabiamila didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Udegbunam Gbajabiamila fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mill Hill's protests and gave Udegbunam Gbajabiamila a yellow card for diving instead. Udegbunam Gbajabiamila kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edorisi Akparanta in the 32nd minute of play forced Mill Hill's goalkeeper Achua Dimeji to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omamofe Shorunmu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Achua Dimeji tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ohen Elejiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th match minute, Mill Hill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nnacheta Adekola to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Udegbunam Gbajabiamila in the 42nd minute of play forced Lexxan's goalkeeper Dosu Famewo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edorisi Akparanta made a kick off. Achua Dimeji was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Omamofe Shorunmu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Osonduagwuike Owuru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dosu Famewo was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. If Omamofe Shorunmu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Omamofe Shorunmu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Achua Dimeji. That made the score 1-3 in the 66 minute of play. After 74 minutes of play, Mill Hill's Ohen Elejiko made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dosu Famewo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute Osonduagwuike Owuru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dosu Famewo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lexxan's Dosu Famewo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ohen Elejiko in the 79th minute of play. Dayo Odhiambo's late challenge caught a Lexxan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dayo Odhiambo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mill Hill getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Dayo Odhiambo hit a great ball. When Awenayeri Otere fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mill Hill's protests and gave Awenayeri Otere a yellow card for diving instead. Awenayeri Otere kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Edorisi Akparanta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Achua Dimeji read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute of the match, Omamofe Shorunmu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Achua Dimeji saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 94th minute Udegbunam Gbajabiamila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dosu Famewo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Lexxan's goal looked a bit too open when Osonduagwuike Owuru came free, but Dosu Famewo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lexxan eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
