The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 11th minute there was a penalty for Burnham on Crouch. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of West Buckland booed when Burnham on Crouch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabo Tsehe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Okuweh Adeyemi having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hashimu Ikani in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otutodilichukwu Utaka saved West Buckland from getting behind. Kurzform Olutufese charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kurzform Olutufese the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes West Buckland got a freekick which was hit by Kurzform Olutufese. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jessica Ayoka made a kick off. Kurzform Olutufese kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Sabo Tsehe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dosu Uwakwe came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the West Buckland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dosu Uwakwe couldn't finish the play. If Hashimu Ikani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 65 minutes, Sabo Tsehe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Buckland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabo Tsehe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hashimu Ikani got free with Otutodilichukwu Utaka in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Jessica Ayoka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burnham on Crouch's supporters rose to their feet, but Jessica Ayoka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otutodilichukwu Utaka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jessica Ayoka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Jessica Ayoka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otutodilichukwu Utaka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
